He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Government from Macalester College and went on to complete a Master's degree in Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs. His academic journey, combined with his professional experience, positions him as a leading figure in graduate education, where he continues to influence policies and practices that support student success and institutional growth.
